Daily and Monthly Pocket Wi-Fi MATTA Offering T&Cs

  1. General
    1. This Terms and Conditions govern all rental agreements between the customer (hereinafter defined as “Customers”) and Tune Talk for the rental of pocket Wi-Fi devices, whether on a daily or monthly basis, entered into at the MATTA fair between 6th September 2024 to 6th October 2024.
    2. The Customers hereby understood that the promo code “MATTA24M” shall only be made available when they rent the pocket Wi-Fi device (hereinafter defined as “Device”) during the MATTA fair.
    3. By renting the Device, the Customers agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and acknowledges that failure to comply may result in additional charges, penalties, or termination of the rental agreement.
  2. Rental Period
    1. Daily Rental: The daily rental period commences upon the Customers’ receipt of the Device and terminates at 23:59 (GMT+8, Malaysia Time) on the same calendar day.
    2. Monthly Rental: The monthly rental period begins on the date the Device is received by the Customers and continues for a duration of 30 consecutive days, concluding at 23:59 (GMT+8, Malaysia Time) on the final day of the rental period.
    3. Any request for an extension of the rental period shall be submitted for approval prior to the expiration of the original rental term. Approval of such extensions is subject to Tune Talk’s discretion.
  3. Rental Fees and Payment
    1. The rental fees for the Device are calculated based on the selected rental duration, whether daily or monthly.
    2. Full payment shall be required at the time of booking and shall be made either through Tune Talk’s online platform or at the MATTA fair.
    3. Any additional charges arising from late returns, damage, or loss of the Device shall be borne by the customer and will be charged accordingly.
  4. Device Usage
    1. The Device is provided solely for personal use and shall not be utilized for any illegal activities or in contravention of applicable local laws and regulations.
    2. The customer shall be responsible for maintaining the Device in a good working condition throughout the rental period and shall be liable for any damage or loss during the rental period.
    3. Data usage may be subject to limitations and fair usage policies. Exceeding these limits may result in throttled speeds or additional charges, as determined by the discretion of Tune Talk.
  5. Security Deposit
    1. A refundable security deposit of RM100 per device is required upon booking the Device.
    2. The security deposit, less any deductions for damages or loss, shall be refunded to the customer within 7 to 14 business days provided that the Device is returned in a satisfactory condition.
  6. Return of Device
    1. The Device shall be returned by the specified return date as agreed between the Customers and Tune Talk.
    2. In the event of any late returns, an additional daily rental fees shall be incurred, which may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the customer’s payment method.
    3. In the event of loss, theft, or damage beyond repair of the Device, the customer shall be responsible for the full replacement cost of the said Device.
  7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    1. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the commencement of the rental period shall receive a full refund, minus any applicable processing fees.
    2. Cancellations made within 1 day of the commencement of the rental period, or after the rental period has commenced, a cancellation fee of 10% shall of the total rental amount shall incur.
    3. Customers who obtain the device during the MATTA fair expressly acknowledge and agree that the provisions of clause g.1 shall not be applicable.
  8. Liability and Indemnity
    1. Tune Talk shall not be responsible for any data loss, interruptions, or other issues arising from the use of the Device.
    2. The Customers hereby agrees to indemnify Tune Talk against any claims, damages, or losses resulting from misuse of the Device.
  9. Customer Support
    1. Customer support shall be made available during the rental period for any technical issues or inquiries related to the Device.
    2. Contact details for support shall thereafter be provided upon receipt of the Device.
  10. Governing Law
    1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
    2. Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.
