TT CUN VALUE Prepaid Data Plan T&Cs
The Tune Talk CUN VALUE Prepaid data plans, hereinafter referred to as “TTCVP Plans” are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- This TTCVP Plans terms and conditions (“TTCVP Plans Terms and Conditions”) shall be supplementary to the Tune Talk Service Subscription (‘Service Subscription Terms and Conditions”) and shall be read together with Tune Talk CUN VALUE Prepaid Pack terms and conditions (“TTCVP Pack Terms and Conditions”) and Tune Talk’s Fair Usage Policy as and when so amended by Tune Talk from time to time. Subscribers who subscribe to any data plans under this TTCVP Plans are bound to all the above terms and conditions and any decisions made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
- TTCVP Plans shall be made available to eligible Tune Talk Subscribers from 00:01, 26th August 2019 (“Effective Date”)to 23:59, 23th August 2021 (“End date”). Eligibility is defined by having the ‘CUN VALUE Pack’ tariff plan.
- Previous data plans (e.g. +VIBE, 4GB monthly or plans under BUDDIES or Tune Talk VALUE Plans etc.) will no longer be available for TTCVP Subscribers from stated Effective Date onwards can only subscribe to all plans enlisted in Clause 6 below.
- Selected TTCVP plans come with Unlimited Passes (Chat, Social, Music) which has unlimited quota when utilization within respective third-party Apps or Web interfaces occurs. The list of apps that fall within respective categories are stated in the table below:

Note:- Unlimited Chat pass is only applicable for text, images, videos, etc posted or viewed within the allowed app/web interfaces of eligible apps. However, shared links (articles, YouTube videos, items from other sources that are not within the list above), will utilize data quota from available data plans or basic internet (for those without data plans or freebies).
- All Voice calls or Video calls made within App interfaces with the exception of WhatsApp will utilize quota from available data plans or basic internet (for those without data plans or freebies).
- Unlimited Social pass is only applicable for text, images, videos, etc posted or viewed within the allowed app/web interfaces of eligible apps. However, Voice calls, Video calls or shared links (articles, YouTube videos, items from other sources that are not within the list above), will utilize data quota from available data plans or basic internet (for those without data plans or freebies).
- Unlimited Music pass is applicable only for music or podcast streamed within the allowed app/web interfaces of eligible apps at normal quality. However externally shared links (articles, YouTube videos, items from other sources that are not within the list above), will utilize data quota from available data plans or basic internet (for those without data plans or freebies).
Unlimited Music – Spotify services including App or Web interfaces:
- Spotify Premium subscription is not included within the Unlimited Music pass. Alternatively, subscribers may use the Spotify Free version.
- Subscribers may experience degradation of streaming quality while listening to Spotify’s Free version due to the interruptions from advertisements which occur on the Free version. To enjoy better quality of music streaming subscriber should use the Spotify Premium version.
- Unlimited passes quota is restricted only for Subscriber’s individual use and cannot be shared with any other person(s) or devices in any manner (including modems, SIM boxes or any other apparatus), programs, applications or in any other manner used to bypass product policies or use beyond limit of normal or allowed use (subjected to Tune Talk’s Fair Usage Policy).
- The details of the TTCVP plans (quota, validity and price) are as stated in the table below:

*Mobile Internet (MI) - Purchase of TTVP Plans
- Subscribers must be in Active status to utilize credit in order to purchase, add or renew their plans.
- Upon expiry of plans, no quotas (data, voice, SMS) or any balance thereof will be carried forward.
- General mechanics of the Mobile Internet (MI) plans:
- Subscribers can only have one (1) active Mobile Internet (“MI”) plan at a time. If Subscriber subscribes to a same or different MI Plan in addition to that which is active, the later MI plan will override the current active plan and all balance data or voice quota on the current active plan will be forfeited. Subscribers are advised to check and confirm current active data plan before making any new MI plan subscriptions
- However other bonus or voice plans can coexist with an active data plan.
- Upon purchase of plans the subscription fee will be deducted from available Tune Talk credit.
- For the avoidance of doubt, if the Subscriber has an existing Weekly 2GB (W2) plan that still has balance 0.5GB valid for another 2 days and subscribes to a Monthly 6GB (M6) plan on the same day, the Subscriber will only have 6GB data quota valid for 30 days.
- Daily plans (Daily 300MB (D300), Daily Unlimited Passes – Chat, Social & Music)
- The Daily 300MB (D300) plan and Daily Unlimited Passes (Chat, Social & Music) are all priced at RM1.00.
- The Daily 300MB (D300) plan and Daily Unlimited Passes (Chat, Social & Music) comes with 1-day validity and expires at 11:59pm (MYT) on the same day of subscription.
- The Daily Unlimited Passes (Chat, Social & Music) are subjected to a Fair Usage Policy of 100GB.
- The Daily Unlimited Passes (Chat, Social & Music) can be purchased ala-carte (stand-alone) and/or can be added-on to any Data Plan desired.
- For instance, if you have a Monthly 1GB plan (M1) that is bundled with Unlimited Chat, you can still activate the Daily Unlimited Music for one day and in the next day continue to enjoy Unlimited Chat for the remainder of your M1 plan validity.
- All unused Daily Unlimited Passes quota will not be carried forward to the following day and refunds will not be valid.
- Unlimited Daily Passes quota is restricted only for subscribers’ individual use and cannot be shared with any other person(s) or devices in any manner (including modems or mobile hotspot).
- Weekly 2GB (W2) plan
- The Weekly 2GB (W2) plan is priced at RM10.00 and comes with 2GB base data quota which is valid for 7 days.
- The Weekly 2GB (W2) plan is classified as a Mobile Internet plan and cannot co-exist with other Mobile Internet plans, including the Daily 300MB (D300) plan.
- The Weekly 2GB (W2) plan does not auto-renew.
- Monthly plans
- Monthly 1GB (M1) plan
- The Monthly 1GB (M1) plan is priced at RM10.00 and comes with 1GB base data quota, Unlimited Chat Pass and Unlimited On-Net voice calls.
- The Monthly 1GB (M1) plan is valid for 30 days and will auto-renew after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your account.
- Any hotspot usage will utilize the base data quota and/or boosters (if any).
- The Unlimited Chat Pass is subjected to a Fair Usage Policy of 100GB.
- Value Incredible Plan (VIP)
- The Value Incredible Plan (VIP) is a mobile internet plan exclusively for:
- Malaysian senior citizens aged 60 and above from the year of birth, and
- differently-abled person (OKU).
- Age is determined by the NRIC registered to the mobile number.
- The declaration of the status as a differently-abled person (OKU) requires document submission via the web or new self-registration via the Tune Talk App.
- The Value Incredible Plan (VIP) is priced at RM10.00 and comes with 2GB data, Unlimited Chat Pass and Unlimited On-Net voice calls.
- The Value Incredible plan (VIP) plan is valid for 30 days and will auto-renew after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your account.
- The Value Incredible Plan (VIP) is a mobile internet plan exclusively for:
- Monthly 6GB (M6) plan
- The Monthly 6GB (M6) plan is priced at RM28.00 and comes with 6GB data, Unlimited Chat & Social Passes, Unlimited On-Net voice calls and 15GB Video Streaming Quota (500MB / day for 30 days).
- The Monthly 6GB (M6) plan is valid for 30 days and will auto-renew after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your account.
- Any hotspot usage will utilize the base data quota and/or boosters (if any).
- The Unlimited Chat and Social Passes are subjected to a Fair Usage Policy of 100GB.
- The B10 Data Booster (B10) is available for the Monthly 6GB (M6) plan. It is priced at RM10.00 and comes with 10GB data. The B10 Data Booster (B10) follows the validity of your active Monthly 6GB (M6) plan.
- The CUN Calls add-on (CUNCALLS) is available for the Monthly 6GB (M6) plan. It is priced at RM10.00 and comes with unlimited voice calls to all local network. The CUN Calls add-on (CUNCALLS) follows the validity of your active Monthly 6GB (M6) plan.
- Similarly, purchasing another mobile internet while being subscribed to the Monthly 6GB (M6) and CUN Calls add-on (CUNCALLS) will forfeit the Monthly 6GB (M6) plan and the CUN Calls add-on.
- For the avoidance of doubt, let’s say a subscriber had subscribed to the Monthly 6GB (M6) plan and the CUN Calls add-on. By the 27th day of subscription, the subscriber had 100% utilized the base data quota of 6GB and is now browsing with the Free Basic Internet. The subscriber decided to purchase a Daily 300MB (D300) plan to enjoy high-speed data. By doing so, the subscriber will lose the subscribed Monthly 6GB (M6) plan and CUN Calls. Instead, all data usage will then be utilizing the Daily 300MB (D300) plan, while any voice calls will no longer be free under CUN Calls.
- Monthly 10GB (M10) plan
- The Monthly 10GB (M10) plan is priced at RM48.00 and comes with 10GB data, Unlimited Chat, Social and Music Passes, Unlimited On-Net voice calls and 60GB Video Streaming Quota (2GB / day for 30 days).
- The Monthly 10GB (M10) plan is valid for 30 days and will auto-renew after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your account.
- Any hotspot usage will utilize the base data quota and/or boosters (if any).
- The Unlimited Chat, Social and Music Passes are subjected to a Fair Usage Policy of 100GB.
- The B10 Data Booster (B10) is available for the Monthly 10GB (M10) plan. It is priced at RM10.00 and comes with 10GB data. The B10 Data Booster (B10) follows the validity of your active Monthly 10GB (M10) plan.
- Monthly – Tune Unlimited (TUNEUNL)
- The TuneUNL plan is priced at RM48.00 and comes with unlimited data enabling HD video quality (capped at 100GB) with unlimited voice calls to all networks (subject to Fair Usage Policy).
- All base quota and hotspot quota are at utilized at speeds of up to 6 Mbps. The unlimited quota for TuneUNL is restricted only for subscriber’s individual use and cannot be shared with any other person(s) or devices in any manner (including modems or mobile hotspot).
- The TuneUNL plan is valid for 30 days and will auto-renew after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your Tune Talk mobile number or other registered form of payment.
- The Tune Unlimited (TUNEUNL) is bundled with hotspot quota of 5GB whereby subscribers can share Mobile Internet through tethering. Once exhausted subscriber will experience hard stop.
- The 5GB Hotspot Booster (“BH5”) bonus data is available for the TuneUNL plan. The BH5 is priced at RM3.00 and comes with 5GB hotspot data and is valid for 3 days upon purchase or until the expiry of the active TUNEUNL subscription, whichever is shorter. Any unused BH5 quota will not be carried forward/rolled over.
- The definition and policies for BH5 hotspot/tethering usage is as per TUNEUNL plan.
- The BH5 bonus data purchases can be stacked on top of the hotspot quota bundled within the TUNEUNL plan and will always be utilized first.
- There is no limit to the count of BH5 purchases, however any additional purchase can only be done upon minimum utilization of 75% (or 3.75GB) of the active BH5 bonus data. Upon repurchase, any existing BH5 data bonus quota will not stack and will be forfeited.
- BH5 bonus data does not auto-renew.
- UNL Call Plan (UNL)
- The UNL Call Plan (UNL) is priced at RM30.00 and comes with unlimited voice calls to all local networks and 100 SMS.
- The UNL Call Plan (UNL) is valid for 30 days and will auto-renew after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your account.
- The BP1 Data Booster (BP1) is available for the UNL Call Plan (UNL). It is priced at RM5.00 and comes with 1GB data. The BP1 Data Booster (BP1) follows the validity of your active UNL Call Plan (UNL).
- Subscribers can only have one (1) active Voice plan at a time. If user subscribes to a same or different Voice Plan than which is active the ‘new’ voice plan will override the current plan forfeiting all balance data or voice quota on the previous plan. Users are advised to check and confirm current active data plan before making any new subscriptions
- A voice plan can coexist with any MI or Bonus data plans.
- Upon purchase of plans the subscription fee will be deducted from available Tune Talk credit.
- For the avoidance of doubt, if the subscriber has an existing Weekly 2GB (W2) plan that still has balance 0.5GB valid for another 2 days and subscribes to the Unlimited Voice Call (UNL) plan and corresponding booster (B1) on the same day, the subscriber will now have 0.5GB valid for 2 more days, unlimited voice calls (valid for 30 days) and another 1GB data valid for another 30 days)
- Calls to premium/special numbers (including but not exclusive to 1-300, 1-800, and others) will incur charges as per applicable rates.
- Monthly 1GB (M1) plan
- Yearly Data Plan (Y120)
- The Yearly Data Plan (Y120) provides 10GB data allocation per 30 days (including day of subscription) and refreshes for another 11 cycles at a one-time cost of RM200.00.
- This plan is bundled with 360 days airtime validity from date of subscription.
- Balance data quota or boosters from each month will not be carried forward into the next cycle.
- Subscribers that subscribe to the 120GB Yearly MI Plan will not be able to subscribe to any other MI plan unless they unsubscribe from the Plan first
- For clarity, the “Yearly” term in this “Yearly Data Plan” refers to the year-on-year renewal nature of the plan and not referring to the regular calculation of a yearly period of 365 days. It is a 30-day renewal cycle where a period starting one day in a calendar month and ending on the numerically corresponding day 30-days later in the next calendar month. This plan automatically renews at the end of the 12th cycle (every 360 days) subject to sufficient credit and must be in Active status during day of renewal.
- The 10GB Booster (“B10”) data booster is available for the 120GB Yearly plan, priced at RM10.00 and comes with 10GB of hi-speed data that follows the validity of your active 120GB Yearly plan.
- Any hotspot usage will utilise the base data quota and/or boosters (if any).
- Video Streaming Quota (hereinafter referred to as “VSQ”) data quota
- VSQ is available for new activations, resubscriptions or renewals of M6 and M10 data plans.
- Data utilized within App or Web interfaces of eligible third-party services will first utilize the VSQ before MI plan quota. (For more info on prioritization, please refer to Clause 16 below).
- Eligible third-party services are limited to YouTube and Netflix.
Video Streaming is at Standard definition streaming (1Mbps speed). - The VSQ (500MB or 2GB per day) for Monthly 6GB and Monthly 10GB respectively will be refreshed every day at 00:01 during the 30 days subscription period of the data plan. For avoidance of doubt, if you subscribe to the Monthly 6GB (M6) plan with 500MB VSQ per day at 11:45PM on 20th August 2019. Your VSQ will be refreshed at 00:01AM on 21st August 2019.
- In the event that the Video Quota is fully utilized before the quota is refreshed, Subscriber may first run on their existing packages (Freebies, Bonus or MI) before Basic Internet (64kbps) quota.
- VSQ is restricted only for Subscriber’s individual use and cannot be shared with any other person(s) or devices in any manner (including SIM boxes or mobile hotspot) and is subjected to Tune Talk’s Fair Usage Policy.
- Any data usage or content access (such as advertisements, web analytic tools, etc.) other than video streaming/uploading within the app/web interfaces of eligible apps will utilize data quota from available data plans or basic internet (for those without data plans or freebies).
- All unused VSQ will not be carried forward to the following day and refunds will not be valid.
- In the event that Subscribers’ VSQ may inadvertently be used even when subscriber is not streaming or uploading content or Subscribers’ available data quota may unintentionally be used instead of VSQ. These could occur due to a number of reasons typically arising from changing configurations or settings from enlisted third party providers. You acknowledge the possibility of these instances happening and agree not to hold Tune Talk liable.
- Any data usage after any paid or promotional Data Quotas are exhausted may revert to 10GB Free Basic Internet quota allocated at speeds of up to 64 kbps. Usage notifications at 90% and 100% will be sent via SMS to the subscriber.
- All plan auto-renewals are processed between 00:00am midnight to 01:30am. (For more info on specific plans eligible for auto renewal, please refer to the table in Clause 6 above). It is advised that you do not attempt to add or renew your plan within this time period to avoid double charging.
- In the event that the Subscriber has insufficient balance to be auto-renewed, the subscription will be deactivated. To enjoy the data plan again Subscriber can top up and re-subscribe.
- In the event that the Subscriber is not in ACTIVE status (ACTIVE status means that a subscriber’s Tune Talk credit validity has not expired), the Subscriber will not be able to utilize the Data Quota until they return to ACTIVE status.
- All unused data balance will be forfeited and refunds will not be valid.
- Multiple Data Plans usage prioritization.
In the case of multiple active data plans and freebies, utilization will be based on the below table:

- All queries pertaining to the above Plans should be directed to Tune Talk’s Customer Care by calling 13100 or 03-2771 7000 from 8am to 10pm daily.
- All Subscribers that participate in any of the New Plans are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein together with Tune Talks service terms and conditions, as and when so amended herein from time to time and any decisions made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
- Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail. Words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa, and words denoting any gender include all genders, and words applicable to natural persons include references to a firm, body corporate or unincorporated, association or an authority, and vice versa.
- The terms and conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of Malaysia and the subscribers agree unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysia.
- Tune Talk reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions without any prior notice.
- The Subscriber’s personal information is subject to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements as stated here at Tune Talk Privacy Policy. Kindly refer to the link for detailed information and understanding of the scope of the privacy policy therein.
