“DCB” refers to Direct Carrier Billing, is an alternative mobile payment method/service that allows subscribers to purchase Contents. These charges will be deducted from Subscriber’s Tune Talk prepaid airtime balance.
“Contents” refers to any third-party digital content, including but not limited to games, music, movies, books, magazines, or other digital content or services, made available for purchase and/or subscription through App Store.
“App Store” refers to a digital distribution platform where you can download and install applications on your mobile device, computer, or other supported devices.
“Subscribers” refers to the person(s) who authorizes us to conclude and make payment for the Content purchase using DCB as the payment method.
“Active status” refers to the Tune Talk SIM or account which is fully operational and can be used for all services provided by the Tune Talk.
GENERAL
DCB is a service provided by Tune Talk Sdn Bhd (hereinafter defined as “TTSB”) for Subscribers to make purchase of Content.
Subscribers purchase, download and use of DCB is subject to:
this Direct Carrier Billing Service Terms and Conditions (“DCB T&Cs”).
This DCB T&Cs, Tune Talk Service Subscription Terms and Conditions along with the relevant privacy policies may be amended from time to time without any prior notice. Any decision made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained. Subscribers can find the most recent version of these terms and conditions on Tune Talk’s website at www.tunetalk.com (hereinafter defined as “Website”).
By choosing Tune Talk account airtime for purchases on App Store, Subscribers are deemed to have read and hereby agree to these terms and conditions.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Subscribers and TTSB, and shall supersede any prior and contemporaneous agreement, claims, representations, and understandings. No modification or amendment of this agreement shall be binding on Subscribers and TTSB unless set forth in writing signed by TTSB.
Authenticity of registration shall be subject to audit and checks by TTSB. Tune Talk reserves the right at any time to stop Subscribers ability to purchase Content from App Store, with or without notice if registration is proved to be fraudulent, reasonable or suspected fraudulent or unauthorized use of DCB service or if TTSB agreement with App Store terminates or for any other unspecified reasons.

Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflict or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail.
The terms and conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of Malaysia and the Subscribers agree unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysia.
The Subscriber’s personal information shall be subjected to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements as stated here at Tune Talk Privacy Policy. Kindly refer to the link for detailed information and understanding of the scope of the privacy policy therein.
ELIGIBILITY, REGISTRATION AND USAGE
The use of DCB service is available for all Tune Talk Subscribers except for Tune Talk Traveller SIM.
Subscribers are required to do a one-time setup to enable DCB service on their Tune Talk account before making their first Content purchase. Subscribers need to ensure the following for seamless Content purchase experience:
Having a valid Gmail account,
Tune Talk account must be in active status,
Having sufficient airtime credit balance in Tune Talk account to purchase any Content from App Store, and
Add “use Tune Talk Billing” as preferred payment method.
Once Tune Talk Billing payment is selected as preferred payment method, this will be Subscribers default payment method for purchases made at App Store until Subscribers change it.
Subscribers may purchase their desired Content while roaming overseas, only if Subscribers enabled the default payment setup in Malaysia accordingly.
In the event where Subscribers have switched or port out Tune Talk number to another operator, Subscribers will no longer able to use Tune Talk Billing to purchase Content. However, Subscribers will remain responsible for all fees and charges incurred before switching to other operator.
The Content in App Store is not owned or under TTSB responsibility hence Tune Talk is not responsible for, nor do we endorse or have any involvement in the operation of or any matter relating to the Content.
LIMITATION
Subscribers spend limit are as follows:
Monthly cumulative purchase of Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred (RM500.00), and
Each transaction capped at the maximum amount of Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred (RM500.00)
The spend limit will reset on the first day of each calendar month.
In the event Subscribers purchase reaches the spend limit, Tune Talk Billing option will not be display in the payment option any further. If Subscribers wish to continue with the purchase of their Content, Subscribers required to choose other available payment options.
DISPUTES, REFUNDS AND ERROR HANDLING
Prices for Content are set by the Content provider and/or App Store. For any pricing inquiries, please contact the Content provider directly.
By using the DCB service, Subscribers acknowledge that TTSB acts solely as the billing and payment agent, facilitating the purchase of Content by paying the Content provider and/or App Store on behalf of the Subscriber and collecting payment from the Subscriber. For any issues or problems with the purchased Content, please contact the Content provider directly.
When a subscriber chooses to subscribe to a subscription service, they will be billed according to the frequency and price set by the Content providers and/or App Store. Subscribers required to refer to the cancellation option set by the Content providers and/or App Store and make cancellation request accordingly. If the subscription is not cancelled prior to the renewal date, Subscriber may no longer have the right to cancel or receive a refund from the Content providers and/or App Store and any cancellation will take effect from the following renewal period. TTSB is not liable to refund any charges in such event.
All purchases of the Content via DCB are final, and no returns, replacements or refunds are permitted, except as set out in the refund policy of the relevant Content provider and/or App Store. Subscribers expressly acknowledge that TTSB as billing and paying agent to conclude and make payment for the purchase of the Content on Subscriber behalf is unable to make any return, replacement or refund to Subscriber and that TTSB shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the use of DCB service by Subscriber. Please refer to the relevant Content provider and/or App Store for more information about Subscribers rights to return, replacement or refund for the purchases made via DCB.
TTSB will only provide credit refund subject to direction to do so by Content provider and/or App Store by crediting the amount into Subscribers prepaid account.
Refunds are not applicable for mobile numbers that have been ported out from Tune Talk Network.
