The Tune Talk App Free Version (βApp Free Versionβ) lets nonβTune Talk users register, explore selected features, and make eligible in-app purchases without subscribing to a Tune Talk SIM.
By using the App Free Version, you agree to these Terms & Conditions as well as Tune Talkβs Service Subscription Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Fair Usage Policy. If anything is unclear or conflicting, these Terms apply specifically to the App Free experience.
Who Can Use the App Free Version
The App Free Version is open to anyone aged 18 years and above.
Users below 18 must obtain permission from a parent or guardian.
Registration requires a valid mobile number (any telco) and a valid email address.
What You Can Do in the App Free Version
With the App Free Version, you can enjoy selected non-telco features, including:
Mini games
Short dramas
In-app points purchase
Limited option on rewards, vouchers, and partner deals (when available)
Contact Card profile
These features allow you to explore the Tune Talk App experience without needing a mobile line or SIM.
What You Cannot Access Yet
Because you do not have a Tune Talk SIM, the following features are disabled:
Mobile plan subscription or purchase
Top-up, reload, and add-ons
Data/credit balance
Data usage dashboard
SIM/eSIM services (SIM replacement, number change, etc.)
Network support tools
Exclusive rewards, vouchers, and partner deals
Registration & Login
You may sign up using your mobile number via OTP verification and then complete your registration with an email address.
Each user will receive a unique App User ID, which will continue to be used if you later become a Tune Talk subscriber.
OTP attempts are limited to three (3) per day per mobile number.
The App Free Version is available to users globally, subject to app availability.
Important Notice
Purchases made during the App Free Version may not be carried forward if you choose to buy a new SIM.
Users who Port In may retain eligible point balances.
App Free Version users may view the Tune Talk Membership barcode but are not entitled to Free Personal Accident (PA) Insurance.
Drama Access
You may watch ad-supported or selected free episodes.
Locked or premium episodes require points to unlock.
You may purchase points to unlock eligible content.
Tune Talk tracks drama views and engagement for service improvement.
Games Access
You may play available games and earn points.
Earned points may be used on eligible content during the trial.
Points and unlocked entitlements will be tied to your User ID and may carry forward if you Port In to Tune Talk.
Points Purchase
You may purchase points for use in eligible games, dramas and content.
Available Points Packages include:
1000 Points (RM10)
2500 Points (RM25)
3500 Points (RM35)
5000 Points (RM50)
Points purchased will be tied to your App User ID.
Point balances may be carried forward only for users who upgrade by Porting In.
Point redemptions or purchases cannot be refunded once completed.
Value Added Services (VAS)
Eligible VAS may be displayed and sold to App Free users.
Purchases will trigger immediate entitlement or expiry based on SKU.
VAS purchases and balances will carry forward once you upgrade to a Tune Talk SIM.

You may save your payment card for future in-app purchases.
Payments for drama, points, or VAS are processed securely.
Tune Talk does not store credit card details directly; payments follow industry-standard security compliance.
Behavior Tacking & Reporting
Tune Talk may track app usage, purchases, views, and engagement to improve services.
All points purchase, redemptions, and VAS transactions will be recorded and processed through Tune Talkβs loyalty systems.
All Free Version transactions are tied to the mobile number used during registration.
Termination or Misuse
Tune Talk may suspend or terminate your App Free access if:
Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
System abuse, bot usage, or reward exploitation occurs.
You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Termination may result in loss of points, access, or progress.
Data Privacy
Your personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and Tune Talkβs Privacy Policy.
This includes information such as:
Registration details
App activity
Transaction history
Device Information
Service Changes
Tune Talk may update. Enhance, add or remove features within the App Free Version at any time without prior notice.
Liability
Tune Talk is not responsible for:
Loss of points or trial progress
App interruptions or downtime
Purchases made using an incorrect or compromised account
Issues caused by third-party content providers
Nothing in these Terms limits Tune Talkβs responsibility where not permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
All disputes shall be handled by the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
